If you're going to a reputable piercer, one who you really trust, I think that they'll be straight up with you. When I went to have mine done, they WOULDN'T do it for lack of a lip on my navel, and said why would I want to spend the moenney if it was so likely to reject anyway?

Still bummed about not being able to do the navel, but I got my tongue done instead that day (had been planning on doing it anyway) and REALLY love that one, so no harm done.

I posted about getting a second navel piercing, i have one at the top, but now I want one at the bottom. You guys gave me great advice, and told me to ask the piercer about the amount of skin I have, and if it's enough to pierce. The thing is, do you think that they would be completely honest with me, or pierce it either way? I'm just a bit *paranoid* that if I don't have enough skin, they may do it anyways? I'm sorry about all of this B.S., i just need a bit of advice. Thanks in advance =)

no need to apologize, you aren't being a bitch about it.

if you piercer is a good(1) one, you shouldn't worry about it. maybe ask for a recomendation for a piercer in your area.
