What do body jewelry, glow sticks, and investments have in common? Sounds like a childish joke, but for our company it has become the spring board to success. The company, Locitos (pronounced Loketos) has created some outstanding products, but we've ran into a funding issue. Let me tell you about the product first, and then detail the assistance we're calling for.
It all started with a glow stick and a tongue ring; how we got there is a long story in itself. Needless to say, it lead to someone telling us that if we could figure a way to make a tongue ring with the glow stick product, we'd have a winner. OK, so we did that, but it went on from there. We then invented a belly ring, and eye-brow ring that used the glow stick too (patents are pending). You'll have to check out our site (listed below) to get a better idea, but basically, it's a real small glow stick that is inserted into a tongue ring (belly or brow ring), and when it glows….. holy cow, does it glow.
If your not into body jewelry, I understand, it's not for everyone, but the market does exist, and there is a demand that's not being filled. It didn't stop there though. We decided to introduce other pieces of body jewelry into our line, and we wanted to shake up the current market. Our goal is to provide value, safety, and a package that would excel beyond any of our competitors. We now have a whole line of body jewelry, with the Atomik line (glow stick ones) being our signature products and an outstanding presentation through the packaging. We proceeded to test the market, and the reception was extra-ordinary!!!!!!! Up Against the Wall and Gadzoooks are carrying our product, and we have interest from Spencers, Limbo Lounge, Charlotte Rousse, Wet Seal, Pacific Sunwear, and more. This is where we need assistance.
In the process of selling to retail chains, we first have to manufacture the products, so that we can deliver the orders within one week. We have the ability to sell 10,000 pieces per month, but can easily jump to 30,000 if we had the inventory on hand. Sure, with time we could grow to that level by relying on current sales, but we see an opportunity to dive in, and are eager to grasp it; positioning ourselves firmly in the market, and creating a brand to introduce additional products through.
Our goal is to raise funding for inventory that will allow us to explode nationally. We're interested in either borrowing the seed funds, or selling stock in our corporation; capital required is $200,000. To some, this may sound like a pipe-dream, but it is truly a moderate investment compared to how much that will bring in orders and growth.
We've established a private sale of our stock for investors at $25 per share (minimum investment is 100 shares) Eighty investors buying 100 shares will allow us to progress.
