yeah, or the reported excessive blood could indicate too much alcohol consumption or a really heavy handed overworking artist.

The moon was in the wrong stage. Your tattoo artist held his/her tongue in the wrong position. You're taking aspirin (or other blood thinners). You got tanked after the procedure. You got tanked the day before. You're a vegan. You take herbal concoctions.

Are you getting the picture?

have you even been back to see the tattooist?

in lieu of that, i suggest you put some high-quality photographs on a website somewhere & then post an URL here. we may be able to give you more specifics if you can give US more specifics.

Did you have a thick scab even though you followed your artist's aftercare? If so you were probably a little over-worked and as the scab healed it caused the 'cracked' effect.

You should talk to the artist that did the work and see what he/she thinks. It can most likely be touched up with no problem.

first advice...bad choice...boyfriend/girlfriends are not nearly as permenent as tattoos.

aside for that...instead of talking to a bunch of people over the internet who may or may not know what they are talking about....try...I know it seems odd...but really it just might work....talking to the artist that did the work...since

he is presumably a professional and should atleast have some knowledge ofwhat is going on

he is present at your local and rather then guessing at it can actuially look at the tattoo and see what is going on

he did the work and is ultimatly responsible for fixing it...

I knw silly idea huh

I would just like to point out that while I may not have been the first with that theory, I was before YOU.

So there.

Ah, and here it goes. The threats of physical violence on usenet.

Hey, thats pretty funny the way you're being all territorial with your woman and stuff. I bet she gets all hot when you do that. Keep it comin.

Also, make no mistake: I can think of at least a dozen regular posters, some of them in this very thread
