i went a long while ago to get my cartilage pierced, when i was 15. i was with my mom, and they wouldn't pierce me. even scarier, though, they offered to let my mom do it as they watched and advised. i'm in michigan.

The law says that no-one may be pierced under 16, even with parental consent, and 16 - 17 need parental consent accompanied by a notarized release. This became effective October 1st. Most reputable piercers will not pierce a ten yr old regardless. albert jeffers

I haven't heard it, but Florida does have some weird laws like that. I could ask DinGo, but he's off on vacation til the 5th. Try Planet 3 in Savannah, GA. Great shop. I'm not sure if Joel will pierce the ears of someone who's only 10, but he might with parental

He should just go to Massachusetts. As long as a minor has parental permission, it's a go. Except for genitals and nipples of course, then it can be considered molestation, for obvious reasons.
