Well, i unwisely decided to stretch my frenum of a week and a half from an 8ga to a 6ga. It went through fine except for the last part which was really tight and wouldn't let it through. The only thing i could think of doing was to apply steady pressure until it worked its way through. This worked, but it hurts like hell now, and i'm thinking i may have torn some tissue. It's not sore like a usual stretching but a sharp pain, mostly when it moves or i bump it. So basically what i'm asking is if there is any way of knowing if i tore the tissue when i stretched it? I suppose there's not really anything additional i could do about it, but i'd like to know though. Thanks,

....sounds like it might have some torn tissue. Any redness? I found sea salt soaks work real well after stretching, that might work for you, but YMMV.

Try MONTHS for the healing a new frenum . . . . and if I remember my anatomy and physiology correctly, an irritated piercing through the frenulum preaeputii would not be affected by reduced gastric mucosa . . . and LordMonkey sounds like a big boy who can read the PDR and bottle lables. I also think that if he wanted a Dr's. advice, he would have contacted a Dr. (See below on 'friendly advice' Oh, and I HAVE taken those doses for two weeks . . . no problems for me, but I know that doesn't mean others will react similarly.

Can't be sued in the US either

Then WHY did you even tell him to take *your* dose, assuring him it's *safe* to take.

I don't think so. You gave medical advice without knowing what you're talking about, applying your own condition to a harmless irritated piercing. Now you're just trying to back out.

If he wants to take Ibuprofen, 200 mg two times a day would be enough. For a couple of days, preferably less than a week.

So basically you're saying 'I was wrong, but not really, so I can admit it'. Sounds familiar. And who are you to expect *anything* from the rest of us?

Bah. You have amused me immensely by desperately resorting to below- the- belt insults. No need to apologize. But you won't be able to change the impression you made (on me at least) by doing so.
