i'm guessing they're a fourteen, though 1mm is 18ga. hopefully your 'artist' wouldn't put 18ga jewelry in your nips. anyhow, mine became much happier upon reaching 10ga. so. yeah.

i'm gonna hope they're more to the tune of 1.6mm, which would be 14ga.

which is still kinda thin for some people.

i agree with lish, mine were happier when they got to 10ga.

after two years i wouldn't call it much of a plunge

(snipped stuff about nipples with problems to get to what I think might be the root of the problem)

Try leaving them alone for a couple of weeks. Rinse them with water when you take a shower. And rinse them with a castille soap (or another mild soap) once a week.

My nipple reached a particular stage of healing after two months and stayed that way for 2 more months. Then I stopped daily washing and it healed completely within a month. It was originally pierced at 14g, since been stretched to 12. I've not had a problem with it since I stopped daily washing.
