We had our fourth Austin munch last night and it was mah-velous. Luke, David, and Kevin were late because they got lost. Tharagor and Atalanta came a little later with a mutual friend of ours.
We stopped at Forbidden Fruit to price jewelry, and talked to John for a little while. (We love John.) As we were leaving, we ran into Lifto outside, by the bar where he works. I hadn't met him before, so that was really cool. Tharagor, Atalanta, and Luke came to Rocky afterwards and were mondo supportive during my debut as Columbia, and I love all three of them for not laughing too hard at me.
We (Tharagor, Atalanta, me, Luke, and two friends) met at Forbidden Fruit this afternoon so Tharagor could start his frenum ladder and I could get my nipples pierced horizontally. I think we may have set a record for most people to fit in John's tiny piercing room (six, not counting John). Tharagor was a real trooper about his piercings and responded with, 'That's it?' when the first needle went through. The result was phenomenal, and I hope he sends the pics to BME.
I was next on the chopping block and got 14 gauge barbells put in behind the other 14 gauge barbells I have vertically. Group consensus is that John did a beautiful job and they look lovely. Alas, I was to be disappointed again
