Hey all, does anyone know what places in Austin, Tx are good for body piercings? When I say good, I mean someplace that wont give me some weird disease or drain 5 pints of blood. Inexpensive is a plus too, but not a big concern. Thanks. M.G.

i agree here too i've been pierced by both john and bear and they are the best. both john and bear have no problem putting you totally at ease with the process. i just can't say enough great stuff about this shop i love 'em. if you go in be sure to tell john that meghan and luke said hi

never been here but david i think has been pierced by her and had a positive experience

also a good shop a little hard to find if your not looking for it. i haven't been pierced by chris yet but i plan to get something done by him in the spring. i did tour his shop and talk to him extensively and was impressed.

I have not yet been pierced by bear. When Geneva as still there she did my apadravya and John did my spetum.

John also did my wifes labia rings and several ear cartalige piercings. We have been very pleased with his work.

Forbidden Fruit is my piercing shop of choice.

Go to John at Forbidden Fruit.

Go to John at Forbidden Fruit.

Go to John at Forbidden Fruit.

Let me know how it turns out, even though I know the answer will be 'great!' if you go to John at Forbidden Fruit, as I implore you to do.

If I were to have a second choice, I'd say Bear at Forbidden Fruit. And if I had a third choice it would be Chris Kane at Body Rites (http://www.bodyritesaustin.com).

If you even think about going to Crimson Dragon, you should just shoot yourself now.

yeah, i posted something a while back about how 'he' did something else (in the midst of tattooing someone) without changing his gloves, and no one believed me.

Isn't that when you pump so hard it causes nerve death, instead of just tenderness or blisters?

Y'know, I just heard another Crimson Dragon horror story last night! well, 'horror' might be a tad strong, but it added to the AVOID CRIMSON DRAGON list. An acquaintance got a tattoo there, and WHILE HE WAS WORKING ON HER, the guy doing the work shoffled around paperwork, answered the phone, and some other sundry things, WITHOUT changing his gloves.

And he didn't check her ID... she was 17 at the time.

Hey there, Thanks everyone for the info. I went ahead and did it. My first piercing ever. Got it on my right nostril. I ended up going to Robert Michael at forbidden fruit. He was really cool. Everything turned out really well, and now I'm on this total high from the experience. I'm already starting to think about my next one. But that's later on in thefuture. Anyways, thanks aain for the assistance. It is much appreciated. -M.G.
