Hi, I'm sure that there is probably a place where I can find the answer to this question, but I haven't found it, so here goes: I had my navel pierced a while ago and it wasn't done the way I wanted, I was wondering if I take the ring out and let it heal can I have it repierced. I've been told that I can't. Thanks for your time.

yes, you can. you might have to wait for any scar tissue to subside, or not pierce through it. but yes, you can.

Whoever told you that is an idiot. There are very few 'can'ts' in piercing.

Repiercing is quite common. Naturally let it heal first!

Heya

I had a Bad Navel Experience myself about two years ago. The pierce turned out to have been done too shallow and just WOULD NOT HEAL, bugged the hell outta me, so I just took out the jewelry and decided to have it re-done once the original pierce cleared up. About six months later, I had it re-pierced, and it's doing as well as to be expected (considering the fact this is a really hard pierce/place to heal). With all due respect, whoever told you you can't have a piercing redone sounds like the same dimwit I overheard advising someone to use 'Peach Tree Oil' in aiding the healing process.

_TEA_ TREE!! _TEA_ TREE, YOU IDIOT!

stretching up to 8 gauge!

***In short.... It Can Be Done.

scar tissue builds up, so it will hurt more and be harder to pierce but it can be done
