Slipknot, Sevendust, Coal Chamber To Ink You Like Hurricanes OVERHEARD AT THE 'TATTOO THE EARTH FEST': (Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.) Ow! That smarts, Mr. Tattoo Artist! Okay, let's have a look... Wait a minute... No! No! We said 'Winona Forever! Winona Forever!' Not 'I Like to Sniff Old People's Undergarments!' Geez. Sure you couldn't hear me what with all that loud heavy metal, but what will Mom and Dad say?
What's being billed as 'the first ever rock and ink traveling festival,' Tattoo the Earth, a 30 date tour featuring performances from metal giants Slipknot, Sevendust, and Coal Chamber, as well as body art exhibitions and applications of all dimensions, will kick off this summer. Paul Booth, Hanky Panky and Sean Vasquez are among the esteemed inkers already on board. Organizers promise to announce more musical acts in the coming weeks. Keep it here or go to
www.tattootheearth.com for updates (but if you go there, you won't be exposed to the delightfully cynical worldview that prompts us to run headlines like 'Paul McCartney Admits to Dating One Legged Model' now will you? Will you? Punk!).
