Hey, I got a pair of nipple piercings (9 months and counting) and a n inner conch (~6 months) that I am nursing to full health. Still get some crusties, but not that significant. Still wash them daily. Anyway, does anyone have any sage advice about whether I should wait for these to heal before I get a couple more piercings done? Been told that I only need to wait a month from the last piercing to 'until they're fully healed' from different piercing places. Let me know what y'all think.

I 'think' it sounds like a load of crap . . . and based on pers. experience, being pierced twice in the same day a couple of times, it's no prob. BUT I'd wait to hear what others, esp., Nina have to say . . .

cleanliness is good.

i think it's better to wait until you feel your body can handle something else to heal rather than waiting a specific amount of time (3 mo., 2 days, etc). think about whether you have the time and patience to soak multiple piercings or if you might neglect them if you are healing too many. yeh.

Nina thinks this is a strong case of YMMV . I am currently healing two nipples (2 months old), a daith (three weeks) and a snug (1 week) the last two on the same ear. I used to wait until one piercing was fully healed because taking vare of several piercings simply took too much time. Until I switched to the 'doing nothing' aftercare method . I am even going to add a helix piercing to the aforementioned ear soon because I have no desire to not be able to sleep on that ear for a year which is about the time it would take if I got one pierce after the other. The snug has not influenced the daith piercing at all- the daith is even less sensitive after those three weeks than any other of my cartilage piercings after such a short while. FWIW, I have noticed no ill effects. After all, a piercing is quite a small wound. But like I said, YMMV.
