Hey. I'm planing on getting some labret studs (4mm ball,5mm shaft,8mm plate implant grade metel) transdermaly implanted through deep keloid scar tissue. Does anyone have any experience with anything like this?
Or if you have pocketing on the arm I'd like to hear how it went.

Both of those procedures almost always migrate out.

Steve Haworth has done something like this on Beki, but not with a standard labret stud/disk. She seems to be having very good luck with it, but you may want to contact him about having it done.

Any suggestons to reduce to chance of rejection?Bigger plates on the studs?Groves on the shaft?Very long curved bars for the pocketing?

OK, first of all, I'm happy to give advice, and it's always good to ask questions, but if you HAVE to ask questions, ALWAYS ask yourself if you're really able to do this procedure.
No. It's not that simple. Simply using a *BIG* plate can cause bigger problems. The trick is convincing the body that it's better off healing around the implant than trying to push it out. For a transdermal, a good guideline is that you want to cover a large surface area, but using a minimum of material. What I mean by that is rather than using a flat plate, one might use a big 'S' shaped wire with the transdermal stud coming out at 90 degrees right in the middle, if you know what I mean.
I assume you mean grooves, and I don't really see what good that would do.
Healing a pocketing is like healing a surface piercing, just one step farther. First, don't even try pocketing if you don't have a bunch of SUCCESSFUL experience with surface piercing. Secondly, you can't just use straight/curved standard bars. If you want these things to heal, you have to be using jewelry designed SPECIFICALLY for the location. It's not easy to get it right
