you shouldnt have stuck a hole in yourself if you dont know how to take care of it.

how do you sterlize something twice, do you have an autoclave in your kitchen?

Baloney. You should learn from your mistakes.

Does this really, honestly, actually matter?

But really, so what if he didnt wear gloves? Its not like he was piercing someone elses nipple. He was piercing his own. Shouldnt you be able to do that however the hell you want?

<<What are the first signs of rejection?>>

First, the piercing never seems to be home to answer the phone when you call. Then, when you do manage to get the piercing on the phone, it always cuts the conversation short with a flimsy excuse. Next, it begins to break dates, saying that 'something suddenly came up.' these are the first signs.

Subsequent signs of rejection include: uttering the phrases 'it's not you, it's me' or 'let's just be friends'; expressing a desire to see other people; getting upset over little things.

Migration isn't the same as rejection. Migrating piercings can be seen flying southward in the V formation in mid-autumn as they seek a warmer climate. They return in the spring.

That's not the point. The point is that resterilizing the ring when he wasn't going to wear gloves was pretty useless. The skin of your fingers is one of those areas with the highest concentration of bacteria (and one in 100-1000 is a pathogenic one). I wouldn't want good ol' Staph aureus happily multiplying in my nipple.

Tell that to hrgnft or whatever his name is :>

Somehow, I get this image in my head of you stomping your foot

I didn't even comment on that. I just praise the Lord Darwin, as usual.

you know I really try to stay out of piercing debates but I did pierce professionally for years and for the record I dont condone amateur piercing on the public and we will not sell needles to anyone who does not pierce in a shop but... who cares if this guy stuck the ring up his ass and pierced himself with

I did some thinking last night, and coupled with the comments everyone left, I decided to take it out. I'm going to have a pro do it. I have a tendency to do things I regret, and I am not about to let it happen again. Thanks for the 'feedback.' Probably the first time you've heard someone thank you for insults . Now it's time to pierce my brain, see if I can poke some sense into it hehe...

Besides, I CAN do without a staph infection.

I did not know how strongly people feel about the self-piercing issue... I guess it IS a bad idea...

I REALLY have to lay off the beer...

-Chris PS... holly, I 'sterilized' it by boiling the ring/needle for a long time... prob didn't help all that much...
