I usually have no problem with name tattoos but after seeing this post I have to say better stick with language you understand. Inking Chinese letters is a chance like in this case when the artist broke one letter to two signs.

I’ve heard some very nice stories about name tattoos but recently few people that tattooed the name of the one they love on their body were separated and when I last seen them I noticed that the tattoo was gone.

I wonder how many people that declared their love in this way stayed with that person after a year or two.

Depends on whose name you have tattooed on you. I have my daughter’s name on my wrist with a butterfly. I’ve been married for almost 35yrs so I think I might be safe with my Hubs name on me. People that just got together shouldn’t tattoo names or initials to be safe. Stick with names you won’t regret later such as children, brothers, sisters, Mom or Dad, etc.

I’m not sure if I would put an actual name on me…. but definately a symbol or something that reminds me of a certain person. I used to want my husbands name tattooed on my ring finger but The show Real Houswives of Orange County kind of ruined that for me

Hey felisha - I would worry about that one, with todays divorce rates you never know…
